YPN Blog Launches

by Rae Hoffman on April 10, 2006 | General Marketing Babble

So, I woke up this morning (in California) and once I finally got up and checked email, saw an email that the YPN Blog had launched today. Seems the guys over at YPN got really excited about this one with all the features they integrated. Looks good.

And for anyone who wants to see a blog grow successfully and naturally, their blog will be one to watch and take some pointers from. They’re starting out with one link as far as their own engine is concerned.

I’m getting on a plane to head back to the Toronto area in a few hours. Updates and pics on WITS when I get back. But, for now a short post to say welcome to the YPN blog and to say that yes, I am still alive. ;-)

Sugarrae runs on the Thesis WordPress Theme

Thesis WordPress theme

If you’re someone who doesn’t understand a lot of PHP, Thesis will give a ton of functionality that you wouldn’t be able to obtain otherwise with a simple control panel instead of having to alter code. For the advanced, Thesis has incredible customization possibilities via Thesis hooks.

For those "in between", like myself, I’ve created "dummy" guides for Thesis hooks that allow us to make more professional customizations than we ever deemed possible. The theme is not only highly customizable, but it has allowed me to run Sugarrae more professionally, with a much more targeted focus on monetization than it ever has been able to achieve before. You can find out more about Thesis below:

Hey, they’ve got you on the YPN blogroll. Do they even know you? ;)

P.S. When I go to leave a comment, your About page says “Quote meon an estimate et non interruptus stadium. Sic tempus fugit esperanto hiccup estrogen. Glorious baklava ex librus hup hey ad infinitum. Non sequitur condominium facile et geranium incognito.” Just mentioning it…

Thanks for the preview tip-off… having the wonderous Reese take care of that as soon as she has a few minutes to squeeze it in. ;-)
