Here’s the deal – the week of May seventh through the twelfth will be Guestwhore week at Sugarrae. I’ll be off completing something on my twenty five things, but don’t want the place to get dust-filled in my absence.
I’ve already got four people lined up to blog (two of whom I should probably have my head examined for giving keys to the blog – they know who they are)… and I figured I’d open up the last slot to someone I maybe don’t “know” or didn’t think to ask who might be interested.
What do you get out of the deal? Well, you get that warm feeling and a link and maybe a few people signing up to your feed that hadn’t seen your writing before. I’m not an “A-lister” – hell, I admit it, those bloggers do work… harder… than I do – but I’ve got a set of steady readers. ;-)
What am I looking for? I want someone with humor and personality. I don’t want a thesis on algorithms or a tutorial to getting Dugg (if you want to post something in depth and meaningful on someone else’s blog, head on over to YouMoz and post it there).
I want someone who can entertain. Be a smartass, fun, rant, whatever – the people who hit this blog will put up with almost anything as long as it is entertaining and rings “real”. (Should I say that about you guys out loud?)
I’ll be accepting “I’d like to be a whore like graywolf” emails until April sixth at which point I have to make a decision to lock up the last spot. If you’re interested, send me your name, blog address and tell me why you want to do it.

Sugarrae runs on the Thesis WordPress Theme
If you’re a blogger looking for a professional presence but don’t understand a lot of PHP, Thesis will give a ton of functionality that you wouldn’t be able to obtain otherwise with a simple control panel. With the incredible customization possibilities via Thesis hooks, you can easily make your blog stand out from the crowd.
Thesis allows bloggers to make more professional customizations than they may have ever deemed possible due to lack of coding knowledge. The theme allows me to run Sugarrae more professionally, with a focus on monetization that is more targeted than I’ve ever been able to achieve with a theme before.
