If you thought the web couldn’t get any weirder… it appears gangs have moved onto the Internet, according to an article in the Boston Herald…
“…have staked claims on various corners of cyberspace. “Web bangers” are posting potentially incriminating photos of members holding guns, messages taunting other gangs and boasts of illegal exploits on personal Web sites and social networking sites.”
Now, my first thought when I read this was to laugh (”Web bangers” will sort of do that to you). My second though was “what is this world coming to?”. My third thought was “Wow, demographics must really be going up in the Bloods have Internet access”.
MySpace (specifically named in the article) must be [sarcasm]loving[/sarcasm] this latest press mention.

Thats so sad. I remmeber this being a problem in the NYC school system years ago. Where the Ill see in the school yard at 3pm was sent over email. Its so sad.
Dude, you’re alive. I’m sending you an email this weekend - we SO need to go over the Sopranos. ;-)
This is good that gangs are on the net. Maybe some of the kids will get sucked into the computer and not go outside any more.
I think it would be great if some people who are good at making money on the net would go into the bad neighborhoods and show some young kids how it is done. Think of the publicity!
Kids would teach other kids and soon they wouldn’t want to go outside and fight. They would see that learning does pay off.
Throw up the tripple DUB yo! DUB DUB DUB beyatch! I can photoshop mo gangsta than all yall web mofos.
