I So Wish I Had Waited to Hear OLLY OLLY OXEN FREE

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my feed or subscribe to me on Twitter, which is updated on a more frequent - and more meaningless - basis.

So, first things first… I owe Michael and Adam both smacks for tagging me in this ridiculous tag game. Course, they might like it, so maybe it isn’t the best punishment idea I can come up with. ;-)

The point of the tag is to reveal five things you don’t know about me. Well, that is pretty damn hard since I have played twenty questions and am pretty open on my about me page, as well as in person. But, here goes…

1. I resist most new technology. For example, I have no idea how an iPod works even though I have an iPod nano I got for Christmas last year because I can’t be bothered to learn how to use it.

2. I used to act in plays and musicals as a kid. Both for school and later for community theater. My dad recorded my first lead in a play and many years later made it into a DVD. You can’t afford my price. ;-)

3. I think Bruce Willis is one of the hottest men on the planet. Followed by the glorious LL Cool J. (Shut up)

4. I’m afraid of moths. I can deal with and kill most bugs… but not moths. I got one stuck in my hair as a teenager and have been terrified of them ever since. (Be quiet, I’m well aware of what a stupid fear it is.)

5. I can’t stand donuts due to working in a Dunkin Donuts for years as a teenager. I’ve never been able to stomach donuts since. Munchkins (or TimBits) are okay though. No, I don’t have any idea why. I never claimed to be rational. ;-)

So, there you go. Now I have to tag five other people to make miserable (oh, and for added “fuck me”, they can’t have been previously tagged by anyone)…

Goodroi, Ianring.com, Lynn, Markus and Dogballs, come on down! You’re the next contestants on the blog is right!

So, why didn’t Ianring.com get a link? Well, see the post on his blog titled “Meet Ian Ring, failed REGEX PIMP” and you’ll see why. ;-)

developing a natural phobia of large insects in your head and hair is probably good, and in nature would have benefited you in natural selection :]

graywolf, don’t make me hurt you. In a way you *won’t* like. :P

LMAO Ian - no link scrooge here… just following instructions you gave me about pride (or something like that)… besides, my comments aren’t no followed, so you’re at least getting something. :P

Rae, my New Year resolution: you will get your rewriting rule and I will get my blogroll link. My reputation is at stake… but I didn’t say anything about no links at all!

harsh.

I did the “5 personal details” thing and added 5 bloggers to challenge, then went surfing around and found that everyone else I’d bother linking to is already infected with this viral chain letter. I’ve learned 5 useless details about dozens of people now. I suppose I should be honoured that my fledgling 4 month old blog was part of a chain incorporating so many A-list and B-list SEO pros - but I’m sorry to say my branch of the tree bears no fruit to another generation…

LMAO… I thought you meant NO links. Trust me, I think you got more traffic from people curious as to why you didn’t get one than those who were linked…

Stop thinking of SEO as A list or B list or whatever… We’re all just bloggers, like so many other people in the world…
