So, with the help of the feed whore, I’ve switched the feeds on Sugarrae over to the Feedburner MyBrand thing - which was a snap since I have a kickass hosting company - and I ended up with a new feed address: http://feeds.sugarrae.com/sugarrae so I need everyone to update their feed subscriptions to the new address.

After an argument discussion with the “why the hell would you change your url structure when you don’t have to” whore late last night, I decided to completely flip the Sugarrae site to a new url structure. As anyone who knows me will tell you, once I make a decision, I do it. I managed to change the blog around faster than Lindsay Lohan was able to get her dealer on speed dial when she checked out of rehab.

I noticed today that it has been a year since the Sugarrae blog launched. Then I remembered that I had written a document with some basic stats about it when I launched it to be able to compare it later. So, I figured I’d share its progress.

First, some back information… I went by the username chrisnrae for a long time online. I had been using it for years and when I fell into this industry I never expected my choice of nickname to be a “brand”.

So, I said a while ago that blogging about SEO all the time bores me. And I made an attempt to do some more personal blogging after that. But, there is no denying it - having my blog attached to my “professional persona” prevents me from saying a lot of what is on my mind. A lot of you are crossovers from my old blog, which was purely personal in nature. You probably know more about me than my dad would like. ;-)

Yea, it is looking pretty kick ass around here. Change out the address on your blog roll people. Thanks to the design goddess over at Design by Reese I am back and in new digs. I had my girl up there custom drawn and I’m in love with it. The topics down the side are in secret agent speak for those anal enough to need to decipher it. Now I can get down to business again.
