I work for a large company in Jacksonville -- im definately not a newbie to search but have limited experience. You seem to be very familar with search and search conferences. Is there one or two that you feel a person like me would get the most information from? I would like to learn more and fine tune some skills.

thanks in advance

Hey Rae, that video is classic and you make a really good point about other conferences.

A few that are not on your list that I've been spending time at the past year or so are run by the DMA: Annual conference, DM Days and the Annual Catalog Conference for Internet and Multichannel Merchants.

Lots of old school marketers making their way to the web is a very different experience than a SES.

Good idea, Rae. There are some on the list that I've never heard of, but will investigate.

I love going to the SES and PubCon conferences, but it is becoming more of a friendly get together(nothing wrong with that) and less of a learning experiences.

You should go to some of the marketing ones - although it really depends on how much you enjoy that stuff :o)

If I'm still here by September, buy you a drink at the Affiliate Summit...
