Wow! You really stepped on some of my toes. Around 3am this morning, I was beating myself up wondering what I was thinking about when I registered my last domain. After sleeping on it, I realized I can go with what I have. You have reminded me, quite successfully, that I just need to do something instead of trying to make sure everything is perfect.

I find that comparing this to Consumer's Report magazine is the easiest example for me to comprehend the issue. When they begin reviewing, they look at the newest (lets use televisions) on the market. After six months of viewing, a month of writing, and a month to get the magazine published.. none of those televisions are on the market anymore. If they are, they are antiques and have been replaced by another unit that is half the price with twice the features.

To relate:
- Quickly look around and compare ideas.
- Make an educated decision for yourself.
- Don't let someone decide for you!
- Review your decision to make sure you didn't mess up!!!!

Good article, love the advice.

In time-constrained situations, it's usually best to make the best decision you can within the available time-frame then measure and review its effectiveness regularly. Internet business changes so quickly that many decisions are like that, but happily making a wrong decision is usually cheap.

That said, don't panic and grab at the first option like a nervous treasury secretary faced with a bunch of mewling bankers.
